Hybrid workshop

On October 19, members of the ICT4Water cluster, policy makers from various DGs, and other professionals gathered in a workshop to discuss the digital transition for the water sector and the cluster’s activities and plans for the next few years. The workshop was part of Water Projects Europe, one of a series of events organised by Water Europe. The hybrid workshop attracted about 50 people who attended physically and an online audience who participated remotely.
Andrea Rubini welcomed the participants on behalf of Water Europe and stressed the good relation between Water Europe and the ICT4Water cluster. Continued
Flash report: ICT4Water cluster Annual Event 2022

On June 29, the ICT4Water cluster met with policy makers from various DGs to discuss the cluster’s activities and plans for the next few years. Next to that, the Policy Brief on the Digitalisation of water sector developed by the synergy group DW2020 (group of 5 ICT4Water cluster projects), and the links with the BRIDGE Energy cluster were presented. In this online meeting, which attracted about 50 water professionals and policy makers, short presentations were combined with discussions in breakout sessions. Continued
ICT4Water cluster Annual meeting 2020

On 16 June, the ICT4Water cluster Annual meeting gathered nearly 150 professionals from the smart water community and over 30 member projects to work together on the digital transformation of the water sector. Because of the COVID-19 crisis, this year’s annual meeting took place online. The event was organised by EASME with the support from DG CONNECT and comprised of presentations from keynote speakers and interactive panel discussions. The moderator of the event was Sotirios Kanellopoulos, EASME Project adviser H2020 Eco-innovation. Continued

On December 1st 2017, the ICT4Water cluster presented an Action Plan to support the setting out of a Digital Single Market of Water Services. Promoted by DG-CONNECT, the action plan is a step forward from roadmaps presented in 2015 and 2016. This year (2017) open workshops were held as core sessions of big water sector events, such as Water Wise Conference, Water Innovation Europe, EIP Water conference 2017, DG RTD /EASME “Boosting Research & Innovation in the Water Sector: The Impact of EU-funded actions” and several bilateral events, with ICT4Water cluster members discussing and proposing how to afford digital water challenges, so as to collect and define the views presented in this strategic document. Additionally, collaborative contributions provided by co-members of several associations and working groups such as the WssTP, BDVA, AIOTI and EIP Water were collected too. Continued
