Four EU funded projects to showcase their innovative solutions in digital water management at the ICT 2018: Imagine Digital – Connect Europe event in Vienna on 4-6 December 2018.
SIM4NEXUS (Sustainable Integrated Management FOR the NEXUS of water-land-food-energy-climate for a resource-efficient Europe),
SWSS (Smart Water Supply Systems),
POWER (Political and sOcial awareness on Water EnviRonmental challenges) and
SPACE-O (Space Assisted Water Quality Forecasting Platform for Optimized Decision Making in Water Supply Services)
are four projects financed with over 14 million € by the EU Research and Innovation programme Horizon 2020 and LIFE, the financial instrument supporting environmental, nature conservation and climate action projects throughout the EU. They are all members of the ICT4Water cluster, the hub for EU-funded research and innovation projects on ICT applied to water management that organises two networking sessions within ICT 2018.
The first session organised by the ICT4Water is scheduled for the 6th of December in Room L4 from 10:00 to 10:45. In this session, titled “EU funded projects towards a Smart Water Task Force”, these four projects will present their results which create impact in diverse activities of the water value chains using different ICT solutions.
If you are at ICT 2018, you can also meet representatives of these projects at the stand of the ICT4Water cluster at T04 – Hall X4. Demonstration of results will go on between 09:00 and 18:30.
The second session is dedicated to the ICT4Water cluster and the digitalization of the water domain and it is scheduled for the 5th of December in Room M1 from 16:30 to 17:15.
