AIOTI: The Alliance for Internet of Things Innovation (AIOTI) was initiated by the European Commission in 2015, with the aim to strengthen the dialogue and interaction among Internet of Things (IoT) players in Europe, and to contribute to the creation of a dynamic European IoT ecosystem to speed up the take up of IoT.
BDVA: The Big Data Value Association (BDVA) is the private counterpart to the EU Commission to implement the BDV PPP programme (Big Data Value PPP).
DG Environment: The Environment Directorate General of the European Commission (‘DG Environment’) was set up in 1973 to protect, preserve and improve Europe’s environment for present and future generations.

European Environmental Agency: The European Environment Agency provides sound, independent information on the environment for those involved in developing, adopting, implementing and evaluating environmental policy, and also the general public. In close collaboration with European Environmental Information and Observation Network and its 33 member countries, the EEA gathers data and produces assessments on a wide range of topics related to the environment.
INSPIRE: The INSPIRE Directive aims to create a European Union spatial data infrastructure for the purposes of EU environmental policies and policies or activities which may have an impact on the environment.

WATER JPI: The Joint Programming Initiative (JPI) on “Water challenges for a changing world” aims to tackle the ambitious grand challenge of “Achieving sustainable water systems for a sustainable economy in Europe and abroad”.
WISE: The Water Information System for Europe (WISE) is a partnership between the European Commission (DG Environment, Joint Research Centre and Eurostat) and The European Environment Agency, known as “the Group of Four” (Go4).
Water Europe: Water Europe (formerly WssTP) is the Water Supply and Sanitation Technology Platform. Their ‘digital transition cluster’ contains the Working Groups: “Water Sensors and Tools” WG and “Digital Water Systems and Interoperability” WG
