It was between Tempurpedic and Dream bed lux, both firm mattresses. The Novosbed medium is a really great bed for people under 200 pounds. Does anyone have either of these mattresses, how are they, what's you're opinion/recommendation? Overall, we like the Amerisleep beds. I haven't been able to get these beds out of my head. The medium feel of this mattress should appeal to most sleeping positions. I almost circles back around to try Casper but between when I first started my bed in a box mattress hunt and now they've raised their price and changed out the top latex layer for a cheaper alternative. If youre looking for a Tempurpedic alternative, I've heard the Novosbed is the closest to the feel of a Tempurpedic but 1/3rd the cost. It's pretty firm at first but after about 3 weeks it softens up. Both of these are pretty much on the upper limit if what I want to spend so what should I know? These mattresses are amazing. So keep that in mind when you look at reviews. It was a close race between BB hybrid, idle sleep hybrid and SleepEZ. They’re well-made, comfortable mattresses, but at the end of the day we have to call a spade a spade. I recently learned that they use 1.8pcf polyfoam in the base so it may not be as durable for people over 200 pounds. There are plenty of other nice memory foam beds on the market that are much more affordable. I don't know much about Amerisleep but and haven't tried Casper but I've looked into Casper.
