phocus vs capture one

It's much like when Adobe introduced Indesign. The old Quark Xpress users were used to their software but eventually came over. Zur Zeit nutze ich Elements 14. I see nothing slow about Phocus. For thread and post integrity, I am going to move this to the Image Processing forum. Marc: Just FYI, since you touched on this topic, Lightroom 3.5 will import FFF files shot tethered via Phocus. Phocus is pokey and doesn't give nearly enough control processing the raws. I find that Phocus and Capture One give me a better raw conversion. I don't see this with Phocus. Inzwischen bin ich Abonnent und nutze fast alle Adobe Programme (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, AfterEffects, Audition, InDesign, …) mit großer Begeisterung. This only happens with some images not all. Phocus is pokey and doesn't give nearly enough control processing the raws. Kennt jemand beide Programme? I have been putting my regular NEF files through all 3. I use Capture One for my Leaf back and Phocus for my H4D. Capture One has become much more popular since the demise of Apple’s Aperture. Focus gives you a simpler image to work with better then LR. The old Quark Xpress users were used to their software but eventually came over. Once in LR you can apply the Camera Standard color profile to get the Hasselblad colors and apply lens corrections (14 H lenses now supported). You can customize Phocus so easily. Great to see you here. . (The public RC has a couple of glitches in this regard, but they will be fixed in the final version.) I've compared output from the same image and prefer the look of the final image from Phocus in almost every case. Liebe Grüße Brigitte. The other day when at the end i took a decision on wich system to pick one of my decision was because of the software and my tipe of work. Deshalb war die Entscheidung am Ende einfach. I have both Phocus and C1. Capture one is a very strong tethered tool with a lot of color choises and level ajustments that allow you to get a pretty close final picture. beides ist Obst, aber.. :deadhorse: I m happy that phocus seams to work ,is good to have diferent choices on the market. I also like the workflow of Phocus better although C1 isn't bad. There is no comparison, Capture One wins hands down in every respect. The speed at which it operates and such large files is remarkable. © 2011-2020 fotoforum-Verlag e.K. Looked at the rest of you work and can say beautiful work. New England Landscape - Fall Color (Oct 5-8), http://www.jeff-grant.com/portfolio219310.html. Very delicate and fresh work. I also like the workflow of Phocus better although C1 isn't bad. War nicht so ganz meins. C1 seems to boost contrast and over sharpen straight out of the box plus with some files I've observed some strange color crossovers in skin tones. As a landscape photographer, albeit one who disliked Velvia, I love the look that Phocus gives. Phocus is pokey and doesn't give nearly enough control processing the raws. Plus the whole 3FR/FFF nonsense is just annoying. And don’t forget to say hi! All rights reserved. I personally like a more film like appearance to my work and Phocus gives me that without having to reinvent the wheel for every session.
